The Master of Built Environment (by Research) at the Faculty of Built Environment, University of Malaya is a fully research-focused graduate programme. Candidates undertake individual supervised research culminating in a dissertation. The course includes exposure to Research Methodology to develop research skills. Areas of research cover architecture, urban planning, quantity surveying, building surveying, real estate, and related fields. The programme aims to empower students to contribute significant research to the development of the built environment.
