The Master of Internal Medicine (MIntMed) at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Malaya, is a rigorous four-year postgraduate clinical degree designed to train doctors as specialists in internal medicine. Since December 2022, the program follows the National Postgraduate Medicine Curriculum (NPMC), ensuring standardized, structured specialist training aligned with Malaysia's national healthcare strategy. The curriculum includes foundational studies (basic sciences and supervised clinical clerkship), multiple rotations in internal medicine subspecialties, a research project, and a fourth-year posting in an approved subspecialty or general medicine.
