This taught MSc provides an advanced, interdisciplinary understanding of the Islamic Middle East across history, modern politics, society and culture, combining critical readings, research skills and methods training, option courses across specialisms, and optional language learning. Assessment includes seminars, presentations, essays and a 15,000-word dissertation; dissertations are automatically considered for the Yasir Suleiman Prize.
