Edinburgh Law School’s LLM in Global Environment and Climate Change Law provides advanced, multidisciplinary training in the legal techniques and issues of environmental protection with particular emphases on climate change and the marine environment. Students analyse the historical and ongoing development of international, European and national environmental law, the interrelations among these levels of law-making, and interactions between environmental law and other legal domains. The programme includes 120 credits of taught courses plus a 10,000-word dissertation (60 credits), with opportunities to take environment-related courses from other University of Edinburgh schools such as Social and Political Science, GeoSciences, and the Business School.
