The MSc Economics (Finance) is one of three research‑oriented MSc programmes delivered under the Scottish Graduate Programme in Economics (SGPE), hosted and awarded by the University of Edinburgh. It provides rigorous training in microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics, and finance, with heavy use of analytical theory, mathematics and statistics, preparing graduates for roles in government, international organisations, financial services and research.
