This research MPhil places you under one-to-one supervision with specialists whose recent work spans the Gospels, Paul, Revelation, apocryphal gospels and early second‑century developments, textual criticism, New Testament ethics, Qumran, the historical/religious/literary environment of the New Testament, and Christology. You may pursue projects in exegesis, historical‑critical questions, textual and literary criticism, the relation of early Christianity to its Second Temple and Greco‑Roman contexts, the history of interpretation, and hermeneutics. You will join a community of around 150 research students in the School of Divinity and participate in the School’s research culture and seminars.
