The BSc (Hons) Biomedical Sciences at the University of Edinburgh’s College of Medicine & Veterinary Medicine provides a common foundation across biomedical disciplines in Years 1–2 and develops knowledge, practical and analytical skills relevant to medicine and human health. Year 1 includes the programme-specific course Biomedical Sciences 1 (BIME08013), which builds core skills in data gathering, analysis, reporting, small-group work and communication, with 100% coursework assessment.
