The Master of Science (Speech & Language Pathology) at NUS is a 2-year full-time, entry-level professional training programme for aspiring Speech and Language Pathologists. Jointly offered by the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine (SoM) and the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS), the program is administered by the Division of Graduate Medical Studies. It is suitable for graduates from any discipline seeking professional qualification in speech-language therapy. The curriculum spans foundational biosciences and linguistics, and advances through child and adult disorders of speech, language, fluency, voice, swallowing, and augmentative/alternative communication. The program is designed for a small annual cohort (about 30 students) to ensure close mentorship, and it admits both recent and mid-career candidates, including overseas students. Graduates are prepared for clinical practice and leadership in healthcare, education, and social service sectors in Singapore and beyond.
