The Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE) at the College of Humanities and Sciences, National University of Singapore, is a cross-disciplinary programme that combines targeted depth in core concepts from Philosophy, Political Science, and Economics. It aims to train students with multi-dimensional knowledge and skills for analysing social and political phenomena, with foundations in formal logic, decision theory, social choice theory, economic quantitative analysis, microeconomics, empirical research methodology, and Singaporean governance. Students complete a curated common core, integrated interdisciplinary courses, and independent projects. The programme is designed to cultivate strategic analysts and policy formulators able to address complex modern challenges through multiple disciplinary lenses. The curriculum structure includes a 13-course common curriculum, major requirements, interdisciplinary study, and unrestricted electives. Academic enrichment is offered through the University Scholars Programme, residential colleges, overseas colleges (special internships), student exchange, and local/global internships.
