The MSc in Financial Technology at Nanyang Technological University, offered by the School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, is designed to provide in-depth knowledge in disruptive technologies transforming the financial industry. The curriculum covers areas such as financial automation (robo-advisors), financial cryptography (blockchain technology), and digital financial services (financial inclusion). Students develop proficiency in applying data science, artificial intelligence, and IT skills to real-world financial problems. The program is structured into three trimesters per academic year, offering two specialisations: Intelligent Process Automation and Digital Financial Services. All courses are conducted at the NTU main campus, either in the evenings or on Saturdays. Graduation requires successful completion of 30 Academic Units (AUs) with a minimum CGPA of 2.50.
