The Master of Science (Holistic Palliative Care) at NTU's Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine is Asia’s first stackable postgraduate programme in palliative care for healthcare professionals. Developed with the National Healthcare Group and Dover Park Hospice, this program equips students with skills to provide interdisciplinary, compassionate, and comprehensive care to patients with life-limiting illnesses. The curriculum emphasizes leadership, research, pediatric and adult care, global perspectives, communication, and exposure to varied clinical settings (inpatient, home, community). It is structured as a flexible, modular learning path to suit busy professionals, allowing stackable progression from Graduate Certificate to full Master’s degree. Clinical attachment is required and must be self-sourced and approved. Graduates are prepared for advanced professional roles in hospitals, hospices, and community care organizations.
