This Double Major programme is jointly run by the Division of Mathematical Sciences and the Division of Physics and Applied Physics at NTU's School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, offering in-depth and balanced training in both physics and mathematics. Students gain exposure to interdisciplinary areas where both fields intersect, such as differential geometry, general relativity, topology, condensed matter physics, and quantum field theory. The curriculum equips graduates for advanced quantitative investigations and for careers requiring strong analytical, computational, and problem-solving skills. The program is suitable for students targeting further studies (Master’s/PhD) in either physics or mathematics, or careers in research, finance, data science, education, and related fields.
