The Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical & Astronautical Engineering (BSAAE) at the University of Washington prepares students for aerospace engineering careers in industry, government, and research. Students learn the principles behind the design, development, testing, and production of aircraft, missiles, spacecraft, and satellites, as well as the application of aerospace technologies to a range of modern challenges on Earth. The curriculum provides a strong foundation in engineering fundamentals, laboratory and hands-on project experience, and an emphasis on teamwork, problem-solving, leadership, and creativity.
