The BS in Rehabilitation Science at the University of Pittsburgh is an interprofessional undergraduate program designed as a foundation for graduate work in physical or occupational therapy, counseling, assistive technology, physician assistant studies, prosthetics and orthotics, medicine, and other clinical health professions. The curriculum includes core and elective courses in areas such as anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, neuroscience, research methodology, and disability studies. Students build leadership and research skills through clinical experience, elective options, undergraduate research, and community service. The program is highly flexible and encourages students to specialize via electives and certificates.
