The UC Davis LL.M. program offers international law graduates the opportunity to pursue advanced legal studies in the U.S. legal system, with the option to specialize in Human Rights and Social Justice Law. The curriculum covers pressing social issues such as civil rights, gender, immigration, and disability rights, offering both theoretical and practical experiences, including award-winning clinics and externships. Students join a diverse legal community and may take specialized courses, participate in student organizations, and engage in public service activities. The program is taught by leading scholars and offers integration with JD courses, networking opportunities, and preparation for U.S. bar exams. Both August and January start dates are available. Two-year options support deeper specialization or skill-building.
