The Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science and Management at UC Davis equips students to address major environmental challenges—such as climate change, biodiversity loss, and resource management—using an interdisciplinary approach that integrates natural and social sciences. Students build foundational knowledge in biology, chemistry, physics, economics, and calculus, and advance to specialized tracks in upper-division studies. Experiential learning is emphasized through field courses, a required internship, and a capstone project. The program is jointly administered by the Environmental Science and Policy and Land, Air and Water Resources departments. Graduates are prepared for diverse careers in environmental science, policy, and management, or for advanced study in related fields.
