The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Cinematic Arts), joint conferred by USC's Marshall School of Business and School of Cinematic Arts, offers a rigorous interdisciplinary curriculum at the intersection of business practice and cinematic arts. Each year, 50-55 students are admitted as a cohort for a hands-on, cohort-based experience in Los Angeles. The curriculum includes 24-28 units of cinematic arts courses—such as entertainment marketing, film/TV/media production, and distribution—complemented by core business coursework in accounting, finance, marketing, leadership, and strategic management. Students must complete at least one industry internship for credit, benefiting from classes taught by industry professionals, guest lectures by leading executives, and extensive networking opportunities. Graduates are prepared for careers in entertainment law, marketing, distribution, programming, talent management, and production.
