The Bachelor of Science in Business of Innovation (BUIN) is an innovative joint undergraduate degree program launched in Fall 2025 by the USC Iovine and Young Academy in collaboration with the USC Marshall School of Business. This program integrates human-centered design, interactive computing, and a strong foundation in both creative and traditional business education, preparing students to lead in the realms of business innovation, entrepreneurship, technology management, and creative industry leadership. Students benefit from challenge-based, multidisciplinary curricula, combining product design and prototyping, finance, management, data analytics, and entrepreneurship. Real-world industry practicum, professional experience, and a capstone 'Garage Experience' further build practical and leadership skills.
