The Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance at USC is a STEM-designated undergraduate degree offered jointly by the Leventhal School of Accounting and the Marshall School of Business. The program provides a comprehensive foundation in both accounting and finance, focusing on financial statement analysis, financial reporting standards, and valuation techniques. It prepares graduates for finance-oriented careers in public accounting, corporate finance, consulting, and related fields. Students must meet USC's General Education requirements and complete a series of core and elective courses in accounting and finance. The degree cannot be combined as an additional major in either accounting or business administration, and students must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0 for all courses taken at USC as well as all upper-division major courses. The BS in Accounting and Finance is STEM-eligible, allowing international students to apply for the STEM OPT Extension.
