The BFA Design at USC Roski School of Art and Design is a four-year, pre-professional program that prepares students for careers in design across industries such as advertising, publication, fashion, sports, entertainment, and film. The curriculum includes foundational courses in drawing, illustration, and a variety of artistic media, complemented by 2D and 3D design workshops, critical theory seminars, professional design internships, international study tours, and a senior thesis. Students are also encouraged to minor in business, advertising, marketing, entrepreneurship, or communication. Advanced students may apply for the BFA/MFA progressive degree, allowing them to start graduate coursework in their senior year.
