This dual M.S. program at Georgia Tech's Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts prepares students for advanced careers in policy analysis and city/regional planning, integrating interdisciplinary professional training at the national, state, and local levels. Graduates work in public, private, and non-profit organizations, with expertise for roles at the intersection of urban development, environmental policy, and economic planning. The curriculum provides complementary skills from both fields and can serve as preparation for doctoral studies in Public Policy or Planning, with specializations in Urban, Environmental, or Economic Development. Students receive both degrees upon completion.
