The Master of Sustainable Energy and Environmental Management (MSEEM) at Georgia Institute of Technology’s Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts is a multidisciplinary program designed to prepare students for professional careers in sustainability. The program covers a broad array of topics, including sustainable energy systems, voluntary environmental commitments, cost-benefit analysis, utility regulation and policy, earth systems, environmental and energy economics, big data for policy analytics, climate policy, and environmental management. Coursework is delivered collaboratively across schools such as Public Policy, Business, Engineering, City & Regional Planning, Civil & Environmental Engineering, and Economics. The curriculum is flexible, allowing individualized study plans. The program integrates theory and practice to develop solutions for energy and environmental issues, with emphasis on leadership, analytical skills, and ethical competencies.
