The Bachelor of Science in International Affairs and Modern Languages (IAML) at Georgia Institute of Technology's Ivan Allen College is a multidisciplinary undergraduate program combining in-depth training in international affairs—covering global business, government, and non-profit sectors—with advanced language and cultural studies. Students select one language concentration (Chinese, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Russian, or Spanish) and must complete at least 24 credit hours of advanced coursework in their chosen language beyond the intermediate level. The curriculum integrates intercultural, interdisciplinary, and quantitative skills, preparing graduates for international positions in business, government, or NGOs. An international experience (study, research, or internship abroad) is required. Graduates leave equipped for roles in global markets and for further graduate or professional study.
