Queen’s University Belfast’s BEng Chemical Engineering is a three-year, full-time undergraduate degree focused on the design and operation of processes that transform materials and energy into high-value products such as pharmaceuticals, food, energy, polymers, fuels, and more. The curriculum integrates core chemical engineering principles, applied sciences, management, and technology to train students in developing economical, ethical, and sustainable solutions. The program offers hands-on design classes, problem-solving, sustainability and safety training, as well as opportunities for self-directed study and engagement with industry-relevant challenges. Students with excellent academic performance may transfer to the MEng program. The course is accredited by the Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE).
