This joint honours undergraduate degree equips students with an understanding of socio-cultural differences and similarities, examining how these arise, are transmitted, and develop over time. Students study both anthropology and Spanish, analyzing literary, political, social, and cultural aspects of Spanish-speaking countries worldwide. In addition to gaining proficiency in Spanish (students may enter as beginners), all candidates follow core modules in Spanish language, literature, and culture. The program includes a study abroad year in a Spanish-speaking country, where students can conduct anthropological fieldwork. Graduates develop analytical skills and cultural insights well suited for international careers.
