Queen's University Belfast International Study Centre offers a structured pathway for international students to progress to Year 2 of the BSc Economics. The program develops critical and quantitative skills demanded by employers and covers macroeconomics, microeconomics, economic modelling, and analytical techniques. Students begin with an International Year One (IY1) pathway, enhancing academic English and foundational economic skills before integrating into the main degree program. The BSc Economics degree at Queen's is ranked 8th in the UK for graduate prospects (Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2025). Students graduate with analytical, computing, presentation, and writing skills. Teaching combines academic expertise, practical sessions, and the use of Virtual Learning Environment (Canvas).
