The Bachelor of Design (Interaction Design) at the University of Canberra equips students to become innovators in digital experience design. The program focuses on designing interactive digital products, environments, systems, and services that place the human user at the center. Core topics include design thinking, user-centered and user experience design, human factors, research and evaluation, technical production skills in web and mobile applications, and emerging trends like designing for accessibility and data-informed UX. Students engage in real-world projects using professional tools (Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, Miro) to build a versatile portfolio. Graduates are prepared for creative careers such as Interaction Designer, UX/UI Designer, Digital Designer, and more. Study can be completed on campus, online, or via blended delivery in 2025.
