The Bachelor of Science in Engineering (BSE) program with a concentration in Automotive Systems at the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering, Arizona State University, prepares graduates to solve real-world problems through cross-disciplinary collaboration, design, and engineering practice. The curriculum builds a strong engineering foundation and focuses on core automotive engineering areas, including powertrain and chassis system design. Students engage in hands-on projects each semester, learning to design, analyze, and build vehicle systems. The program emphasizes leadership in automotive engineering, especially automotive testing and hybrid propulsion, and is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET. International students are eligible for the STEM-OPT work authorization extension. The program is housed at the Polytechnic campus and offers significant opportunities for research, student organizations, and internships.
