The Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering Systems) at Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering, Arizona State University, prepares students to tackle real-world engineering challenges through hands-on, project-based learning. The program develops a broad engineering foundation and specialized mechanical systems knowledge, including theory and application of materials, machine design, thermal fluid systems, energy and power from a systems perspective, and significant hands-on experience. Graduates gain both technical and professional skills, such as communication, teamwork, and adaptability, suitable for multidisciplinary, innovation-driven careers. The program is ABET accredited, available at the Polytechnic campus, and eligible for the STEM-OPT extension for international students. Participation in the Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) may reduce tuition for students from eligible states.
