The Master of Science in Law (MSL) at Northwestern University's Pritzker School of Law is designed for STEM professionals who want to strengthen their understanding of law, business, and technology. The program uniquely combines legal education with business and regulatory analysis, focusing on the intersections crucial to technology-driven industries. The curriculum is flexible, allowing students to tailor studies to their interests, with core courses in business formation, contract law, torts, intellectual property, regulatory process, and professional communication. The MSL can be pursued full-time in Chicago or part-time online, with both tracks receiving the same diploma. Online students must complete at least two credits in residence via short intensive sessions in Chicago.
