The Master of Science in Law (MSL) Online Part-Time program at Northwestern University's Pritzker School of Law is designed primarily for STEM professionals globally who wish to advance their careers by gaining deep expertise at the intersection of law, business, and technology. The curriculum spans business law and entrepreneurship, intellectual property and patents, and regulatory analysis, among other areas, and is academically rigorous and flexible. Students can begin in Fall or Spring and follow a personalized schedule, typically finishing in 2–4 years. The program requires completion of online courses taught by Northwestern faculty, with at least two credits taken in residence, usually fulfilled by participating in the Chicago campus’s Power Week or weekend classes. Upon graduation, all students receive the same MSL degree as residential students.
