Vanderbilt University Peabody College has updated its former Learning and Design (M.Ed.) program to the new Innovative Design and Technology in Education (IDeaTE) M.Ed. This program prepares students to pioneer the design, implementation, and evaluation of interactive and technology-rich learning environments across a range of settings. The curriculum centers on learning theories, user-centered design, and analytics, equipping graduates for careers in instructional and e-learning design, educational technology, analytics, and emerging roles related to AI in education. All students undertake an internship and a capstone project, with options to earn additional graduate certificates in Learning Analytics or Emerging Learning Technologies and AI.
