This dual master’s degree partnership allows students to earn two LLM degrees: one from Universitas Gadjah Mada (Indonesia) and one from the University of Glasgow (UK). The program is designed for high-achieving law graduates, enabling them to spend their first year at UGM and the second at Glasgow, with both institutions recognizing the second-year credits. The curriculum offers comprehensive legal training, with the option to build a general or specialized LLM from available tracks (e.g., Human Rights Law, International Law, International Commercial Law). Students benefit from rich academic resources, expert faculty, and exposure to different legal systems. The structure includes taught courses (typically 6 modules) and a dissertation or collaborative research project. The first intake into Glasgow is September 2025, with the program running through at least 2029. Exceptional students can thus obtain two master's degrees in law in about two years, without extending the length of study at either institution.
