Course 6-9 is a joint SB degree offered by MIT’s Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and the Department of Brain and Cognitive Sciences that focuses on computational and engineering approaches to brain science, cognition, and machine intelligence. The curriculum is designed to flexibly serve interests ranging from biologically inspired AI to reverse-engineering neural circuits, preparing students for careers using advanced AI/ML and for graduate study in systems and cognitive neuroscience.
