MIT Stephen A. Schwarzman College of Computing, through the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS), offers Course 6-4, the SB in Artificial Intelligence and Decision Making. The program provides a strong mathematical and algorithmic foundation for systems that perceive, learn, make decisions, and act, integrating machine learning, statistics, causal inference, reinforcement learning, control, robotics, vision, NLP, and the societal/ethical dimensions of AI. The official degree chart specifies core GIRs and a structured AI+D curriculum with tracks including data-centric, model-centric, decision-centric, computation-centric, human-centric, plus a Communication-intensive in the Major (CI-M) application subject (e.g., Robotics, Computer Vision, NLP).
