MIT’s 6-9 is a joint SB program by EECS and Brain & Cognitive Sciences that focuses on computational and engineering approaches to brain science, cognition, and machine intelligence. The curriculum provides access to foundational and advanced material in EECS together with architecture, circuits, and physiology of the brain, accommodating interests from biologically inspired AI to reverse‑engineering brain circuits.
