The Master of Arts in History at the University of California, Irvine School of Humanities provides rigorous training in historical research and analysis with an emphasis on themes such as global history, colonialism, gender and sexuality, migration, and religion. The program is characterized by small cohorts, close faculty mentorship, and a vibrant research community. Students engage with a diverse curriculum encompassing both region-specific and broad thematic courses and are prepared for research, teaching, or further doctoral study.
