The BS in Biomedical Engineering at the Hajim School, University of Rochester, provides a rigorous curriculum combining engineering principles, medical knowledge, and hands-on learning. Students select from concentration areas—biomechanics, biosignals and biosystems, cell and tissue engineering, or medical optics—and gain clinical insight through proximity to the University of Rochester Medical Center. The curriculum includes core engineering courses, design projects with real-world organizations, extensive research opportunities, and preparation for industry, academia, or professional medical programs.
