UMass Amherst School of Public Health and Health Sciences offers both the Master of Public Health (MPH) and Master of Science (MS) degrees in Community Health Education. These programs train students to address pressing public health issues, design evidence-based health promotion programs, and conduct behavioral and community-based research. Students develop skills for leadership roles in community health, program development, health communication, research, and advocacy. The school is fully accredited through 2029 by CEPH and provides both traditional and fully online program options, led by nationally recognized faculty. The MS degree is typically more research-oriented, while the MPH emphasizes professional practice.
