Boston University's MS in Medical Sciences (MAMS) is one of the oldest and most successful Special Master’s Programs (SMP) in the U.S., developed to prepare students for a medical career. The flexible program can be completed in either one or two years, with a curriculum including fundamentals in medical sciences, critical thinking, and research skills. All students complete coursework in the fall and spring semesters, and a research- or literature-based thesis is required.
