Personal Statement: A succinct “Statement of Purpose” describing your academic and career goals. Recommendation Letter: “Letters of Recommendation” - Identify three (3) individuals willing to provide you with a “Letters of Recommendation” (LOR), attesting to your abilities in an academic or professional setting. - Enter requested information in the appropriate section of the application, including the correct email address for each Recommender. - Once you have completed the application and submitted it for “Formal Review” the University at Buffalo will contact your Recommenders via email with instructions on how to upload the LOR.
