The B.S. in Robotics Engineering at the Baskin School of Engineering, University of California Santa Cruz, prepares graduates for rewarding careers at the interfaces between electrical, computer, and mechanical engineering. Students receive comprehensive training in the principles and practices of robotics, control, and the scientific and mathematical foundations necessary for modern robotics. The curriculum includes opportunities for multidisciplinary research in embedded systems, autonomous systems, sensor technology, and digital media. A senior design capstone course is required, with options for corporate-sponsored or self-designed projects. Students often engage in research projects and industry internships as part of their experiential learning.
