The Business Management Economics B.A. program at UC Santa Cruz equips students for careers in business, management, and related fields. The curriculum blends core economic theory with applied business and managerial courses, and offers optional concentrations in accounting (preparing students for CPA licensure). Students develop analytics, financial, and quantitative skills, learn to use computing tools for data analysis, and may pursue internships, study abroad, research collaborations, and practical field experience. Graduates are prepared for positions in accounting, finance, management consulting, marketing, investment, nonprofit management, and public administration, as well as further graduate study.
