Coventry University's Aerospace Systems Engineering program is designed to prepare students to become skilled professionals capable of designing and developing next-generation aircraft systems. The course offers a comprehensive education in mechanical, electrical, and systems engineering as applied to aerospace, with a strong emphasis on both theoretical principles and practical skills. Students use industry-standard software and facilities, and receive instruction from faculty with extensive industry experience. The curriculum covers engineering mathematics, aerodynamics, structures, thermodynamics, control systems, system simulation, modelling, and manufacturing. The BEng is accredited by the Royal Aeronautical Society (RAeS), enabling progression towards Incorporated Engineer (IEng) status and partial fulfilment for Chartered Engineer (CEng). Graduates have found roles with leading aerospace companies and in military service.
