The Fine Art BA (Hons) at Coventry University enables students to explore both traditional and innovative approaches to contemporary art. The programme encourages development of individual creative voices as well as technical, critical, and reflective skills. Emphasis is placed on art practice as a catalyst in society, and students work across 2D, 3D, and digital forms in newly re-developed facilities. Teaching integrates exposure to historical, cultural, social, and political contexts of art, with extensive opportunities for guided briefs, self-initiated projects, live exhibitions, competitions, and public gallery exposure. The curriculum is designed and delivered by practicing artists and the University supports strong industry engagement.
