The Music and Audio Production BSc (Hons) at Coventry University's Faculty of Arts and Humanities immerses students in the technical, creative, and business facets of the music industry. The curriculum covers studio recording, music composition, arranging, producing, mixing, mastering, sound design, live sound, sound effect, synthesis, and interactive sound (including computer game audio). Students will use industry-standard facilities, including five recording studios (Audient, Yamaha Nuage, Neve, SSL), live rooms, performance spaces, and iMac tech suites with software such as Pro Tools, Logic, Cubase, Ableton Live, and more. The program also addresses music business, employability, and offers hands-on experiences such as masterclasses at Rockfield Studios. Graduates can pursue careers as music producers, sound engineers, composers, audio post-production, and game audio technicians in sectors like radio and television.
