This program, offered by the Faculty of Computational Mathematics and Cybernetics at Lomonosov Moscow State University, trains graduates in advanced mathematical techniques for solving problems in information processing and decision making. Key subjects include operations research, actuarial mathematics, discrete structures and algorithms, statistical analysis and risk forecasting, information security, artificial intelligence in cybersecurity, nonlinear dynamical systems analysis, modeling and optimization of control processes, and combinatorial data analysis. The curriculum is designed for students with strong backgrounds in applied mathematics and computer science, preparing them for careers that demand analytical and quantitative skills across research, industry, and technology sectors. All courses are taught in Russian, and international students may take a preparatory Russian language course prior to admission.
