This dual-degree Master’s program is jointly offered by the Faculty of History at Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU) and Belarusian State University (BSU). The program equips students with an in-depth understanding of the development, social, cultural and political roles, and historical evolution of Belarusian diaspora communities worldwide. Graduates receive two Master’s degrees—one from MSU and one from BSU—emphasizing a curriculum that combines general historical methods with focused studies on Belarusian diaspora phenomena, international cooperation, and applied research. Curriculum typically includes courses on migration history, sources and methodologies for diaspora studies, Belarusian-Russian relations, and intercultural interaction. The program involves active exchange, joint research, and potentially periods of study at both institutions, fostering expertise suited for academic, diplomatic, or cultural roles related to the post-Soviet region.
