The Dual JD/MGA program at the University of Notre Dame allows students to earn both a Juris Doctor (JD) from Notre Dame Law School and a Master of Global Affairs (MGA) from the Keough School of Global Affairs in a total of four years. The MGA offers three concentrations—International Peace Studies, Sustainable Development, and Governance and Policy—preparing students for careers in governments, NGOs, civil society, and the private sector. The curriculum emphasizes rigorous coursework, funded international field experience, and multi-disciplinary professional training to address complex global challenges. Students must apply separately to each program and can begin with either the JD or MGA. The combined program facilitates a unique integration of law and global affairs, preparing graduates for impactful roles at the intersection of law and global policy.
