The Joint Master of Arts in International Affairs and Master of Business Administration is a dual-degree graduate program offered by the Elliott School of International Affairs and the GW School of Business at George Washington University. The program is designed for students seeking advanced expertise in both international affairs and business leadership. Students are required to be admitted independently by both the Elliott School and the School of Business. Up to 10 credits from the MBA can be counted toward the MA degree requirements with program director approval, and up to 12 credits from the MA program can be counted toward MBA electives. All requirements for both degrees must be met, and the degrees are awarded simultaneously upon completion of both sets of requirements. The program provides broad interdisciplinary training in policy analysis, global strategy, international development, management, and cross-sector leadership, leveraging GWU's proximity to major global organizations in Washington, D.C.
